In the ever-changing landscape of risk cover the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) requires that, at minimum all registered insurance representatives complete 18 hours of continuous professional development (CPD), financial advisory and intermediary service training per year. This measurement ensures that representatives are what the industry refers to as, ‘fit and proper’. When asking our SATIB representatives for their comments on steps they take to remain ‘fit and proper,’ we were delighted to receive the following:

“In order to provide my clients with expert advice, and a tailored ‘fit and proper’ risk analysis, I ensure that I continuously research and investigate all areas of risk surrounding my clients’ business. Ranging from D&O, Motor, Property, Liability to Cyber it is my duty, as a risk advisor and SATIB representative, to stay more than informed”.  Natasha Parry (SATIB Gauteng)

The heartbeat of SATIB’s offering lies in the specialized advice we deliver to our clients by staying informed on the offerings available in the industry and the risks that may be detrimental to their business. As I always say “price is what you pay, value is what you get.” As a SATIB representative, I ensure that my clients receive the value they deserve. Monique Van Staden (Satib Gauteng)
