  1. Store the SATIB24 number and your policy number in your Crisis Management Folder/ Emergency Response Plan. Ensure all staff know where this is located and is accessible at any time.
  1. Ensure SATIB24 is notified at the earliest opportunity of an incident, this will reduce liability for the insured client.
  1. If SATIB24 is involved from the outset, we can relieve pressure from the caller, remotely advise on initial lifesaving procedures and ensure that the incident process is managed and systematically followed through to conclusion.
  1. SATIB24 has a dedicated medical team to ensure that any medical facility used in the event of evacuation, is a recognised medical provider and will have the resources to provide appropriate treatment, specific to injury or ailment.
  1. If a guest or traveller is a Foreign National, SATIB24 will require the traveller’s insurance details to activate their policy. We will also require a copy of their passport. We advise all clients to receive a copy of these documents from their guests on arrival, to be centrally held and accessible to ALL staff in the event of an incident.
  1. All staff should be competent and practised with the Emergency Response Plan (ERP), this plan should be regularly reviewed and updated. SATIB24 can advise on creating an ERP or review an existing one.
  1. If SATIB clients are due to entertain certain groups i.e. Children, elderly guests or guests with specific medical conditions or ailments, we would advise notifying us so we can add the user to our High-Risk Folder for that period the guests are in location. This will increase the speed and efficiency of reporting an incident and the process prior to providing initial assistance.
  1.
