SATIB SAFE
The SATIB Safe seal provides peace of mind to the international travel market that your insurance portfolio was structured together with an experienced and reputable insurance intermediary, who understands and specialises in the South African tourism and leisure market. It gives your agents, guests, clients and staff peace of mind – knowing that you are adequately covered in the event of an accident, incident or adverse weather event.
The SATIB Safe logo is available to all clients who comply with the industry’s minimum cover requirements as determined by SATIB, including general public liability, passenger liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Of course, travel and tourism is a dynamic sector, and everyone has different needs. The SATIB team is on hand to give personalised service, tailormade advice, and to conduct a risk/cover audit to ensure you can display the SATIB Safe logo confidently.
Applying for SATIB Safe:
In order to ensure that the SATIB Safe logo maintains its mark of assurance, we require clients to send an email to contact@satib.co.za stating the company details under which PAX/GPL/PI are held for verification, and the relevant details to whom the SATIB Safe logo artwork should be emailed to.
Once verified by the compliance team, SATIB will mail a letter of undertaking for signature, which will need to be returned via email to contact@satib.co.za. On receipt of the signed letter of undertaking, SATIB will email 2 images (1 png file for use on websites, and 1 hi-res jpg file for use in print) through to the recipient as indicated.
